Dr. Jeffrey Borandi

Dr. Borandi was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Univ of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed a 3-year certificate program in Dental Anesthesiology at the Univ of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in conjunction with the Univ of Pitt Medical Center. The University anesthesia program has the mission of preparing dentsits to manage pain and anxiety in pediatric, adult and special needs patients by using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic techniques. During his residency, Dr. Borandi successfully completed over 1500 cases in general anesthesia in the areas of dentistry, general surgery, ENT surgery and obstetrics. A part of his training was devoted to comprehensive rotation with the renowned Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Borandi is an avid Pittsburgh sports team fan and enjoys the Steelers as well as the Penguins.
