Insurance

Our office will make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options.  To accomplish this, we work with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.  We are currently participating providers with the following insurance carriers:

  • United Concordia
  • Delta
  • Guardian
  • United Health Care
  • UPMC For You
  • UPMC For Kids
  • UPMC Dental Advantage
  • Cigna

Payment is required at the time of service. For those with dental insurance, we will file claims as a courtesy, and we gladly accept assignment of benefit payments from most insurance companies. This will reduce your immediate, out of pocket expenses. However, we will collect the estimated portion of your fee at the time services are rendered. Please keep in mind that this is only an estimate – if there is any difference after your insurance pays, you will be billed for any unpaid balance. Geshay Pediatric Dentistry provides services to your child, not your insurance company. Therefore, you are ultimately responsible for payment of any service charge incurred in this office..  If payment has not been made by your insurance company within 60 days, we will expect you to pay the balance in full. You are responsible for all deductibles and charges not covered by insurance. Please understand that we cannot, as a third party, become involved in prolonged insurance negotiations.  For these cases, insurance companies generally respond best to the inquiry and demands of the insurance policy holder.

If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff.   They are well informed and up-to-date and can be reached by phone at   (724) 438-1576  or by e-mail at   [email protected]

Please bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite your insurance reimbursement.
