Financial Policy

We would like to thank you for becoming a member of our dental family, and assure you of our continued commitment to excellence.  In an effort to control the costs for quality dental care, we have established the following policies:

Payment ( minus any estimated insurance benefit) is expected at the time of service.  Payment can be made by cash, check, Mastercard or Visa .  This includes co-pays, non-covered charges and deductibles .  For those with dental insurance, we will file claims as a courtesy to our patients and we gladly accept assignment of benefit payments from most insurance companies. Please keep in mind that we will need to have your complete insurance information, and forms filled out in full, for us to be able to accurately give you treatment estimates and also to be able to bill your insurance properly. We do require that the information you provide us is accurate and up to date for us to be able to properly process any insurance claims you may have. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

Our office participates in the following dental insurance plans:

  • United Concordia
  • Delta
  • Guardian
  • United HealthCare Community Plan
  • UPMC For You
  • UPMC For Kids
  • UPMC Dental Advantage
  • Cigna

Our participation arrangement will reduce your immediate, out of pocket expenditures. .Although we estimate what your insurance company will pay, it is the insurance company that makes the final determination of your eligibility/coverage .  You are responsible for any portion of the charges not covered by insurance. You are responsible for the timely payment of your account.  A penalty for late payment will be charged to accounts overdue by 30 days to cover the administrative costs of managing your account.  Unfortunately, there are times when a past due account is ignored.  We would then need to seek payment via a third party.  If we have to pursue this through a collection agency or small claims court, you will be responsible for all collection and court costs.

If you do not have dental insurance, we are pleased to offer the following payment options:

  • Visa, or Master Card.
  • Care Credit Payment Plans.
  • Dental Banc Payment Services

Regarding Divorce

It is very uncomfortable to be placed in the middle of a divorce situation.  We cannot be asked to serve as a collection agency in these cases.  The person who brings the child into our office and authorizes treatment will be held responsible for payment obligations to our office.

Our office will make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this, we work with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.

If you have any problems or questions, please ask our staff. They are well informed and up-to-date and can be reached by phone at (724) 439-1576 or by email: [email protected]

We thank you in advance for your assistance.

Thank you for your cooperation.
